Well THIS thing has been left to gather substantial dust.
My life has been anything but boring.
Born and raised on a tiny 8-acre farm in the middle of Pauline, SC, my mornings would start with roosters and geese. I had a tumultuous beginning, raised by my grandparents - and then my uncle - all while under the guise of true daughterhood; I had my suspicions that they weren't my parents but honestly, nine year olds don't care much. My grandpa passed when I was 9 of prostate cancer, and my grandmother in a car accident when I was 13.
My uncle took over from there, but he was my brother to me - always looking out for me, even if I didn't quite understand his ways. Suddenly, I was 19 in college on spring break and found out about it all. Six months later, my biological father found me on Facebook.
Needless to say, everything has been a whirlwind that won't cease. When I was 23 I got divorced and was living out of my car, sleeping in a friend's bar when I could, building transmission gears. I hopped on a one way plane to Washington State, hoping for a change of pace and a new beginning.
Though I forged new friendships and some lasting bonds, I desired to be closer to friends and family I had left back home. After a four year stay, I came back to SC. Currently I am a freelance artist living every day at a time.
I enjoy ink, watercolor, soapmaking, bookbinding, and a myriad of other things. Check the gallery. You won't be disappointed.
thank you!
