So many memories
Are blown away on the wind
Only to be known
So very deep within
Taking shape and form
They dwell within our minds
Feeding off the heart
Closing off our blinds
A stepping stone
On which to rest upon
Yet a warm embrace
On which to prey upon
Pictures fade away
Places fade to dust
But memories last forever --
And in some cases, they must.
